The Project

Anglian Water Services (AWS) at Basildon is responsible for the treatment of waste water and sewage for a residential and business community of over 300,000. Elmac Technologies were selected as preferred supplier for the relief venting arrangements across four Anglian Water sites; Cliff Quay, Pyewipe, Colchester & Basildon.

The Requirement

Elmac worked with the appointed process contractors, a joint venture between Imtech Process and Galliford Try, to assist in the design and selection of the required valves in-line with Anglian Water’s Asset Standard.

The Solution

For the Basildon anaerobic digesters, Elmac specified 16 pressure and vacuum relief valves, containment boxes and all associated pipework, all supplied within schedule and within budget.
