These tests are certified to EN ISO 16852 (previously BS EN 12874), the European Standard for flame arresters which provides for a significant safety margin in typical operating conditions.
On behalf of customers, we are equipped to investigate the characteristics of particular gases or vapours and conduct application-specific tests in our highly advanced flame arrester test facility.
Any flame arrester supplied must be installed in accordance with the explosion group, location and operating conditions (e.g. temperature and pressure) against which the explosion type testing has been performed.
