Mohd Asnizam bin Ahmad Sidek: I received my bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering in Robotic and Automation from the University Technical Malaysia Melaka. I have worked exclusively in the oil and gas sector for over five years – planning, coordinating and liaising with clients regarding commercial matters.

Muhammad Zafuan bin Muhd Sakri: Since graduating from the University of Malaysia Pahang (UMP) with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, I’ve worked at several companies before joining BPE Engineering & Services.

What are your plans for the future? What is your critical customer-care offering?

Ir. Ts. Mohd Isnari bin Hj. Idris: As Managing Director, whose primary responsibilities include making major corporate decisions and managing the company’s overall operations and resources, I’m pleased to say that our plans for the future are ambitious.

We have ambitions to be listed in the IPO and to be one of the most successful Malaysian electrical engineering companies with after-sales services. We will achieve this by evolving as technology grows and as clients demand more from their OEM relationships.

Our ambition makes us so different from others by providing various discipline and after-sales services. Our aim is not just about money or growth – it’s about creating value for our clients and making a difference in the lives of the communities we serve.

Mohd Asnizam bin Ahmad Sidek: Three years ago we were appointed as Authorised Service Representatives for Elmac Technologies. Since then we’ve received only positive feedback from our clients, across a range of industry sectors, on the innovative Elmac Flame Arresters. Hence, by taking advantage of the interactive potential of marketing digitalisation platforms, BPE Engineering and Services can expand further by building brand awareness in the Malaysia region.

Our pleasure is to deliver an expanding network with excellent after-service, maintenance, technical consultancy and product sales, all based on regional and international safety & compliance standards. We do this by utilizing our Flame Arrester and Pressure Protection Training from Elmac Technologies to the highest standard.

Muhammad Zafuan bin Muhd Sakri: It is always a good idea to have a plan for the future, but it’s not easy. I am planning my career according to my qualifications and experience gained from related business disciplines. I do not think that I will change my career path anytime soon. Still, if something happens, I will take the necessary steps according to the situation.

My key customer-care proposition is to offer the best product at the right price in order to add value for both our customers and their clients.

And finally, tell us a bit about yourself. How do you relax after a busy day?

Ir. Ts. Mohd Isnari bin Hj. Idris: Family is so important to me, especially during the holiday season. As business owners, we might feel as though we don’t have time to spend with our family, but that’s not true. After a busy day I try to take the time to relax by spending spend time and watching Netflix with my family.

Mohd Asnizam bin Ahmad Sidek: With a pretty busy schedule as Lead Engineer, every day is different. However, I do try to keep the same overall structure to my day, so I don’t lose time. I also try to get as much done in the morning, so I can head out and enjoy the day’s end by playing video games and reading.

Muhammad Zafuan bin Muhd Sakri: It’s no secret that people today live hectic lives with long workdays and commutes home. This, followed by whatever else life throws at you can be stressful so it’s important to remember to take time for yourself so you don’t burn out. When I’m super busy with my day-to-day tasks, it can be hard to take some time out just for myself – so I will settle with some good rest and sleep.
